Cadbury Schweppes plc is a confectionery company. The Company’s products include brands, such as such as Cadbury, Schweppes, Halls, Trident, Dr Pepper, Snapple, Trebor, Dentyne, Bubblicious and Bassett. It operates in four segments: Americas Beverages, Americas Confectionery, Europe Middle East and Africa, and Asia Pacific. On May 2, 2006, it acquired the 55% of Dr Pepper/Seven-Up Bottling Group, which was not previously owned.
During the year ended December 31, 2006, it acquired All American Bottling Company and Seven Up Bottling Company of San Francisco. In August 2006, Cadbury Schweppes sold Bromor Foods (Pty) Limited. In 2006, it disposed of its beverage operations in Europe, South Africa and Syria. In September 2007, the Company acquired Intergum, a Turkish gum business. As of November 23, 2007, Cadbury Schweppes plc's Vantas International Ltd had acquired a 95.73% stake in Kandia-Excelent S.A..
