Carrefour buys Caprabo stores

Carrefour has bought four hypermarkets and two service stations owned by Caprabo in Spain, a move that forms part of the retailer's strategy to boost its Spanish hypermarket operations.

No financial details were disclosed in the latest Carrefour deal in Spain, where the French retailer has been keen to widen its hypermarket operations. The deal is expected to give the French retailer around 20,000 square metres of sales area. The deal has yet to undergo regulatory approval.
