Bourbon to sell rest of Vindémia to Casino

Bourbon SA said its board has decided to exercise a put option to sell its remaining 30 per cent in retail chain Vindémia to French retailer
Casino Guichard-Perrachon et Cie. The value of the transaction was not disclosed. Bourbon had an option to sell the stake to Casino in 2007, 2008 or 2009.
In May 2005, Casino raised its holding in Vindémia to 70 per cent by buying 36.66 per cent from Bourbon for €199.6mn. Vindémia operates supermarkets and hypermarkets in Vietnam, Madagascar, and Reunion Island, amongst other places.
