Kaufland's Board to lose yet another member
The Executive Board of hypermarket retailer Kaufland – a subsidiary of German retailer Schwarz Group who also owns the Lidl discount chain – will lose yet another member. Mr. Eckhard Südmersen announced to voluntarily exit the Board.

The German Lebensmittel Zeitung reports that the announcement of Südmersen – as a Boardmember responsible for logistics and production – came as a surprise. Recently Dr. Helmut Steurer – the responsible Boardmember for Finance – also decided to step back from Kaufland’s Board.
