Carrefour creates website for suppliers
As part of its B-to-B strategy, Carrefour has said it wants to boost access to partnership solutions for all of its 62,000 suppliers throughout the world. In order to attain this objective, it is launching CarrefourNet, a simple, quick, efficient website that provides access to a range of useful information, data and applications, all designed to help suppliers in their day-to-day efforts.
Available in French, English and (soon) Spanish, this Internet site has four sections:
- The Carrefour Group offers general information about the group (its trade names, quality commitments, Responsible Trade Policy and more).
- Standards provides a description of Carrefour’s standards, the lynchpin for B-to-B relations between companies (such as rules for exchanging data and coding products).
- B-to-B Solutions tells all you need to know about various B-to-B partnerships and Carrefour’s development strategies (including general overviews and details on how to use electronic invitations to tender).
- Countries gives access by country (via world map or rapid access) to all Carrefour applications that relate to B-to-B solutions.
