Starbucks gets Naked
Starbucks, the multinational coffeehouse chain, will be distributing Naked Juice products at nearly 7,000 Starbucks stores in the US. Naked Juice, recently purchased by PepsiCo, is a brand of all natural fruit drinks and smoothies that have no added sugar or preservatives, and high concentrations of antioxidants.
Adam Carr, general manager of the Naked Juice, said: "Making Naked Juice available in Starbucks stores allows us to bring the best all-natural juice to more consumers." Denny Post, senior vice president of Global Food & Beverage, Starbucks Coffee, said: "Naked Juice offers Starbucks customers another healthy and delicious beverage option, and furthers our commitment to provide high quality and nutritious choices."
"Naked Juice's consumers and customers are passionate about this brand. We value that level of loyalty and look forward to building on it to help Naked Juice continue to grow," said Greg Shearson, president of Tropicana Products North America, a unit of PepsiCo.
