Duka shopping carts add a splash of colour

Colour has an important emotional impact in the store – both for the customer (it can influence a purchasing decision, and can enhance the shopping experience) and for the retailer, in terms of branding and identity.

Plastimark SpA recently launched its Duka shopping cart, available in many different colours, to enable a retailer to capitalise on the benefits of colour. It is now possible for a retailer to select a cart in the same colour as the store’s logo or house-style, thus differentiating itself from the competition and helping to build shopper loyalty. Furthermore, the Duka cart is environment-friendly: 100% recyclable and without chemical treatments such as galvanization or painting. The Duka even helps to reduce noise pollution, since it is absolutely quiet.

An added benefit of the plastic Duka cart is its compatibility with future technologies such as RFID or other electronic reading devices within next-generation (self-)checkout points.
