New Cryovac shrink bag for cheese

New Cryovac shrink bag for cheese
Designed for curing-in-the-bag cheese applications, the new Cryovac shrink bag allows safer pack integrity and better machinability, along with cost reductions. Cryovac BK3550 is a high-sealable, multilayer, co-extruded shrink bag with controlled permeability for cheese packaging.

This new generation bag brings improved features to the successful and long-lasting Cryovac BK1L such as exceptional sealability and higher stiffness. Available in end or transversal seal, taped or untaped, plain or printed, the bag comes in several colours and features an easy opening format. Key benefits include safer pack integrity and reduced leakers; easier packaging process as there is no need to lay the bag flat on the sealing bar; longer runs, with less machine downtime and reduced storage needs; and excellent optics and skin-tight shrink finish for enhanced product appeal. The Cryovac cheese bag also brings significant benefits during the maturation process, such as reduced curing costs, enhanced hygienic protection and increased yield.
