Easy Gourmet range is Cryovac winner
The winner of the 2007 Best of Packforum Award was the Simple StepsTM pack, adopted by leading Swiss meat processor Bell earlier this year to launch its “Easy Gourmet” range of tender marinated steaks and brochettes for cooking in the microwave (currently available at Coop, the leading Swiss retailer).
Voters of the award, which took place during the recent Retail Press Day organized by Sealed Air Cryovac at its Packforum® European customer care centre, were impressed with the attractive presentation and remarkable consumer convenience the pack offers. Simple StepsTM is a vacuum skin pack (VSP) which offers taste and texture preservation, tenderness enhancement, superior convenience, reliable shelf life, high product visibility and a striking second skin effect for outstanding appeal in the retail case.
