Unilever consolidates US Foods
Unilever is going to combine its US food businesses. The new single US Foods Business Team includes Unilever's Meal Solutions, New Vitality Portfolio and its Spreads, Dressings and Beverages groups. Amanda Sourry is appointed to lead it. The new team will manage all of Unilever's US food brands such as Lipton, Bertolli, and Hellmann's. Not included is its ice cream business, Ben & Jerry's.
Unilever also announced other management changes to be a more competitive organisation and to be more consumer and customer focused. Kevin George, who currently serves as Vice President and General Manager of the Deodorant business, would become Vice President and General Manager of the company's combined Antiperspirant, Deodorant and Hair Care Business.
Lisa Klauser, Vice President, Brand Building & Marketing Excellence, would henceforth become Vice President of the newly formed Consumer and Customer Solutions organization.
Unilever has 400 brands spanning 14 categories of home, personal care and foods products.
